METHODOLOGY

Time as a research dimension.

Adeah studies the relationship between market cycles, timing structures and price behavior across multiple horizons.

RESEARCH PROCESS

Observe. Model. Assess. Review.

01

Define the context

Identify the market, observation window, data inputs and relevant time horizons.

02

Map timing structures

Analyze cycle intervals and potential alignment between longer and shorter horizons.

03

Assess the scenario

Compare timing observations with price behavior and conflicting evidence. Identify what would challenge the interpretation.

04

Review the outcome

Record observations, distinguish hindsight from contemporaneous analysis, and revisit assumptions.

INTERPRETATION

A window for closer attention.

A potential timing window is a research observation. Its relevance depends on the surrounding market conditions, the model assumptions and the evidence available.

The framework considers swing-day and swing-hour structures alongside price relationships. A marked interval does not mean a reversal must occur, nor does it specify a profitable trade.

See historical examples ↗
VALIDATION PRIORITIES

Make the framework testable.

Software development should define reproducible rules, preserve dated research records, test unseen data and assess sensitivity to market regimes. Execution analysis must also account for costs, slippage and risk controls.

RESEARCH NOTES

Explore the thinking behind the charts.

Selected methodology and technology articles from the Adeah editorial archive, revised for this research framework.

Studying potential market turning points

Adeah studies market cycles, timing structures and potential turning points. The central research question is how observations about time and price can be organized into a framework that can be examined, documented and challenged.

A potential turning point is a research hypothesis. It is not a promise that price will reverse at an exact moment or level. The distinction matters: a useful research record must show what was anticipated, what would contradict that expectation and what actually happened.

Time and price as separate questions

A timing study asks when market behavior may warrant closer examination. A price study asks which levels or regions are relevant to the hypothesis. Bringing the two together creates a more specific question to investigate; it does not remove uncertainty.

Daily and intraday observations also require separate treatment. An apparent relationship on one interval should not be assumed to apply to another. Each study needs a defined instrument, time interval and evaluation period.

Making a hypothesis reviewable

The proposed research record should capture the observation date, the data available at that date, the potential timing window, the relevant price context and the conditions under which the hypothesis would be rejected. Later commentary should remain separate from the original record so the reader can distinguish advance observations from hindsight.

Adeah’s public materials will focus on explaining that research framework. Any statement about accuracy, repeatability or investment performance would require its own supporting evidence and clearly stated measurement criteria.

Explore Adeah’s Methodology and Research pages for the framework and selected historical illustrations. Research content is informational; a potential turning point is not an instruction to buy or sell.

From a chart illustration to a research record

A chart can make a research idea easier to understand. It can also leave important questions unanswered. Adeah’s selected historical examples are intended to illustrate timing and price concepts, with the context needed to assess what the chart does and does not establish.

The role of examples

Gold, EUR/USD and the S&P 500 examples drawn from the original Adeah presentation can show how a timing framework is expressed visually. They should be presented as selected historical illustrations. Their inclusion does not establish a complete track record, independent verification or future predictive accuracy.

What an example should disclose

A useful case study identifies the instrument, chart interval and dates shown. It explains each annotation and whether it was recorded before or after the market move. If an original timestamp is unavailable, that limitation should appear beside the example.

The interpretation should describe the proposed timing window and price context in neutral language. It should also describe what would have counted as an unsuccessful observation. A reader should not have to infer the evaluation rule from a chart selected after the event.

Beyond selected examples

A fuller research assessment would examine a defined set of observations, including misses and ambiguous cases. It would distinguish the quality of the research hypothesis from the outcome of any hypothetical implementation. Trading rules, costs and execution assumptions would need separate documentation before an investment-performance conclusion could be drawn.

This is the standard of transparency Adeah intends to develop as its research program evolves. The current illustrations explain the concept; they are not a verified performance report.

A development roadmap for research automation

Adeah is developing automation to translate its market-timing methodology into a more structured research and technology workflow. The longer-term concept includes human-supervised semi-automation and, if supported by validation and the necessary operational framework, potential fuller automation.

This is a roadmap. It should not be read as a statement that Adeah currently operates an automated hedge fund or offers an investment product.

Codify the research process

An initial development priority is to document the methodology sufficiently for consistent implementation: inputs, transformations, timing outputs, price context and exception handling. Ambiguous judgment calls need to be identified rather than concealed within a software implementation.

Evaluate before expanding

The next proposed stage is a reproducible evaluation process. That means defining the questions in advance, preserving the data and model versions used, and documenting both favorable and unfavorable observations. Any simulation would need to make its assumptions and limitations visible.

Introduce supervision and controls

A semi-automated workflow could help organize observations and support human review. Before any execution capability were considered, separate work would be needed on authorization, risk limits, monitoring, reconciliation and the ability to suspend activity. These are proposed development requirements, not claims about features already in production.

Keep the investment ambition conditional

A potential fund structure is a distinct undertaking from developing research software. Its feasibility would depend on evidence, resources, appropriate professional review and a suitable operating framework. No launch date, return target or investment availability is represented here.

Adeah welcomes conversations with prospective research, technology and strategic partners interested in this development direction. Contact marty@adeah.llc for an introductory discussion. This article is not an offer to invest.

DEVELOPMENT THESIS

An operating research business. A new stage of development.

The next stage is to automate the research workflow and make the methodology reproducible, testable and operationally controlled.

Automation work is in progress. Execution capabilities and a future fund remain development objectives; Adeah is not presenting an operating automated fund or a validated investment product.

DEVELOPMENT ROADMAP

Four stages of development.

01

Codify the methodology

Translate research rules, inputs and timing calculations into reproducible software specifications.

02

Validate the model

Assess out-of-sample behavior, robustness, costs and failure modes before considering execution.

03

Develop supervised execution

Explore paper execution and semi-automated workflows with human oversight, limits and monitoring.

04

Assess a future fund

Evaluate a potential fully automated hedge-fund structure only after validation, operational readiness and applicable requirements.

LONG-TERM VISION

A global fund for a new generation.

Our ambition is an automated hedge fund with a clear digital experience and broader participation across global markets, where permitted.

The development path moves from research automation to supervised execution and, if validated, fuller automation. Participation, jurisdictions, eligibility and fund structure would depend on a separately established operating and regulatory framework. No fund is open for investment through this site.

PROPOSED ENGINEERING PRIORITIES

Build controls alongside capability.

01

Historical testing, unseen data, scenario analysis and paper execution.

03

Execution controls

Human oversight, exposure limits, monitoring, exception handling and stop mechanisms.
